Please Do Not Bring the Following Items: 

  • No Alcohol, Drugs or Tobacco
  • No Pets
  • No Weapons
  • No BBQ Grills (Gas or Charcoal)
  • No Roller Blades, Skateboards or Scooters, Golf Carts or motorized vehicles

Parking: 

  • Please use caution when unloading and unloading vehicles.  Park in designated areas only. 

Drop off:

  • Please follow attendants direction to all designated parking an drop off areas. 

Bathrooms: 

  • Please use only the designated bathrooms marked Men’s, ladies and Survivor/Handicap only!!  Use Washing stations to clean your  hands.  

Valuables:

  • Please leave all valuables at home. If you bring electronic items, please do not leave them unattended. If you find something on the track or football field, please turn it in at the lost and found tent. 

Lost & Found Articles: 

  • If you have Lost or Found an article of clothing, wallet, hat Etc… please bring it to the lost and found table by the entrance. On the Sunday after Relay, all items found or left on the school property will be placed in the storage facility, after 30 days these items will be donated to Goodwill. The ACS and Relay committee is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

Children: 

  • If you have Lost or Found a child please go to the police command post. 

Bad Weather: 

  • If it should rain before the event, please check with your team captain, the web site ( www.mckinneyrfl.com) or drive by the site to check on the status of the Relay in the event it should have to be canceled because of bad weather. 
  • Bad Weather Hotline: On the day of the event the following number will be used to update our relay participants of the current status of the relay: 

Information:  

  • There is a information center that has a map of the Relay, a schedule of all activities and other things that you might need to know about.  If you can not find your answer there, just ask a committee member that is wearing the very attractive "Teal" Shirts.     
  • The McKinney Relay For Life Program will contain all of the planned events and a map of the area.

Electricity: 

  • Camp sites ( TBD ) to the right and left of the entertainment stage will have electricity outlets provided. Each of these campsites will have a designated outlet
  • The breaker will "trip", if you are attempting to plug in too much or the electrical device pulls too many amps.
  • We will do our best to provide electricity, however, we cannot guarantee that you have an uninterrupted power supply through out the night.

Fire & Safety:

  • NO FIRE PITS OR OPEN AIR FIRE’S ALLOWED PER THE FIRE MARSHALL.  Safety is our utmost concern. Please use common sense during the Relay but if you should Need medical assistance or the police they will be present all Night.  ( See map for location of First Aid and Police Command Center.)

 Ballfields at Craig Ranch: 

  • No one will be allowed on or under the stands, in the club house, or maintenance buildings.  Bathrooms will be open for use during the event.

 Sports: 

  • All activities like throwing of footballs, Frisbee’s, kicking of soccer Balls etc… should take place behind tent city, not in the middle of the field by the stage and the survivor tent for safety reasons

Camp Site Clean-Up: 

  • During the event and after the event please pick-up after yourself and your team.  There will be large green trash bins and recycle bins around the event.
